Symptoms we treat
Autoimmune conditions Parsley clinicians successfully treat.
Hashimoto’s thyroiditis
Hashimoto’s is a condition that occurs when your immune system attacks your thyroid. Our clinicians will recommend thyroid testing, then create a comprehensive plan to help you cut down on inflammatory foods, manage your stress, and find the supplements to support thyroid health.
Chronic fatigue / Weight gain / Constipation / Dry skin and brittle hair
Rheumatoid arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disorder in which your immune system attacks your body's tissues. Our clinicians will recommend testing for autoantibodies and inflammatory markers in your blood, then create a comprehensive plan to cut down on inflammatory foods, find anti-inflammatory supplements, and support stress management.
Tender, warm, or swollen joints / Stiffness / Fatigue
Ulcerative colitis
This inflammatory condition is characterized by ulcers that develop on the inner lining of the colon or large intestine. Ulcerative colitis causes many different debilitating symptoms in the gut like cramping, abdominal pain, and bloody stools. These symptoms tend to appear in flare-ups, often disappearing for days, weeks, and years at a time. While there is no cure, medication and strategic diet and lifestyle changes can help manage this condition.
Loose and urgent bowel movement/ Bloody stool/ Mucus in stool/ Fatigue
Lupus
Lupus is a multi-system condition that occurs when your body's immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. Our clinicians will recommend a series of tests to see if your immune system is overstimulated, then create a comprehensive plan to help you lower inflammation with gut-healing foods, manage your stress, and find supplements to support immune health.
Fatigue / Body aches / Weight changes / Joint pain / Skin rashes / Raynaud's syndrome / Brain fog / Blood clots / Dry eyes
Anemia
This condition occurs when the body doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells. Red blood cells are key because they help carry oxygen from the lungs to the rest of your body. When this process is disrupted, you may become anemic and feel weak, dizzy, and out of breath.
Weakness/Shortness of breath / Dizziness/ Cold hands or feet
Celiac
This genetic disorder is known as the most severe form of gluten intolerance. When someone with Celiac disease eats gluten, it sets off an immune response that damages their small intestine. Celiac not only causes uncomfortable gut-related symptoms, but may also lead to severe nutrient deficiencies because it makes it harder for the body to absorb nutrients from food.
Diarrhea/Bloating / Fatigue/Weight loss
Crohn's disease
Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory condition that affects the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to anus, impacting the path that food travels through the body. It presents in a multitude of different symptoms, often somewhat sporadically.
Nighttime Diarrhea/Cramps / Weight loss/ Rectal bleeding
Thyroiditis
Thyroiditis is a general term for inflammation of the butterfly-shaped gland in your neck—the thyroid. There are a few types of thyroiditis, including Hashimoto's and postpartum thyroiditis, and these variations present in different ways. Schedule a blood test with your provider if you suspect that your thyroid is inflamed and potentially causing a hormonal imbalance.
Fatigue/Weight gain / Constipation/ Dry skin
Psoriasis
This is a chronic skin condition that causes the immune system to overproduce skin cells, resulting in inflamed, scaly patches of skin. These patches often appear on the scalp, elbows, or knees, but can affect other parts of the body as well. Our clinicians may recommend lab tests to rule out other conditions like leaky gut that may be triggering psoriasis.
Dry skin/ Nail changes/ Joint pain

I have medicare/medicaid; can I still sign up for Parsley?
Parsley Health doctors are opted out of Medicare and Medicaid. The Medicare/Medicaid Agreement is required by all of our members and acknowledges that you agree not to submit a claim, or to ask the doctor to submit a claim to Medicare/Medicaid. Please note that if you don’t sign our Medicare/Medicaid Agreement, Parsley Health is unable to provide you with services. Though our clinicians have opted out, they do have order and refer privileges, which means they are still able to place lab orders and recommend referrals using your insurance plan. As a member, once you’re connected with a doctor, you will have a dedicated care manager to support you in navigating the cost of testing.
